ESPN - Euro 2008

The assignment was to get Americans excited about watching the storied EURO 2008 football championships. We had no budget for a shoot and a ton of archival footage to use, but we wanted to make sure we didn't just edit highlight packages. Instead, we used national anthems and our footage to tell a deeper story about each country’s style of play.

Below are the individual spots we made for some of the most exciting clubs in the tournament. We even had a little fun at England's expense when they failed to qualify.
